1. Information OB-Edge Processes

OB-Edge may process the records you create inside the application, including receipt details, spending categories, notes, dates, reminders, and exported files you intentionally generate.

2. How Core Data Is Stored

Core workflows are designed to operate locally on your device. That means receipt and spending records remain under your device-level control unless you deliberately export or transmit them through another service.

Because OB-Edge is local-first, you should protect your device, backups, and exported files with appropriate security controls.

3. Permissions and Inputs

  • Camera access may be requested for receipt capture or document scanning.
  • File access may be requested so you can import records or export CSV and JSON files.
  • Notification access may be requested for reminder features such as warranty deadlines and subscription renewals.

4. Support Communications

If you contact support, the information you provide in your message, attachments, and contact details may be used to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, and improve support quality.

5. Data Exports

When you export data from OB-Edge, the resulting files are generated at your request. Once exported, the files are subject to the storage, sharing, and retention choices you make outside the app.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You can control many privacy outcomes directly by editing, deleting, exporting, or removing records from your device. Questions about privacy practices can be sent to [email protected].

7. Children and Sensitive Use

OB-Edge is not directed to children under 13. Avoid storing information you are not legally permitted to collect or protect.

8. Policy Updates

If this Privacy Policy changes, the updated version will be posted with a revised last-updated date. Material changes will be reflected in the text of the policy itself.
